My name is Kent Dolezal.  I am Christ follower, living by Matthew 16:25  Christian and country music lover, servant, friend, striving to lead a God centered life.  Sharing the love of Jesus.  And most importantly, I am a worshiper of the Lord, Jesus Christ. He has changed my life in such dramatic ways…I literally thank Him everyday for where He has brought me from and where He is taking me to. All Glory, honor, and praise is His. I am blessed to be serving at my local church, St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Marion, Iowa.

Jesus came into my life in 2007 after some bad mistakes in my life.  Until bad things happen in our life we don’t know the power of having faith.  So, what is faith and why is it easier to believe in it when we fail in life?  We turn to faith when what we were doing isn’t working and we lose control.  When we control the direction of our life and it works, we trick our self  into believing we know what we are doing.  Most of the time we have no idea of how the path our life takes is controlled by a higher power.

” Just like water seeks it’s own path and will find it’s own level!  We too seek our own paths but we are not always on the level with ourselves and others about our life'”.

Broken Road Reflections is about my life and all the good and bad choices I’ve  made and how I have learned from them.  We all face tragedy. What’s more, we have all received the symbols of tragedy.  Yours might be a telegram from the war department, an ID bracelet from the hospital, a scar, or a court subpoena.  We don’t like these symbols, nor do we want these symbols.  Like wrecked cars in a junkyard, they clutter up our hearts with memories of bad days.  At the end of the day, I am just some random guy that God is using in a small way to make the world a better place in Jesus name!
